ABOUT PURPOSE

“where intention meets movement”

PURPOSE MVNT is a collective of adult commercial dance artists committed to continuously growing in their craft, work ethic, and sense of purpose. We create a consistent space for dancers to train, refine, stay performance-ready, and be part of a community of like-minded artists, whilst creating pathways to desired opportunities and professional work.


What to Expect

Each PURPOSE volume is different. Every experience is designed to keep you developing your craft. We train foundations and culture, refine choreography pick-up and retention, build stamina and conditioning, sharpen freestyle and performance quality, and explore the realities of the dance industry. Through performances, creative projects with artists/brands and goal setting, dancers are set up to stay consistent in their craft and show up ready for what’s next.

FIND YOUR PLACE

PURPOSE has two tracks designed for different training needs. Both tracks are audition-based and provide a space to train, refine, and grow within a like-minded community.

  • Ages 18+ : Members commit to the full PURPOSE experience: consistent training, refinement and conditioning. Members are ready to be part of performances, creative projects, industry exploration, goal-setting, and be booked on professional work.

    Member rehearsals take place Thursdays 6:30pm-8:30pm AND Saturdays 11am-12:45pm. 

    Member tuition: $300, payed in full or 2 installments.

  • Ages 14+ : The Trainee pathway is for dancers who need further refining in their technique, foundations, choreography pick-up and retention, conditioning, stamina, freestyle, and/or performance and are ready and committed to continuing their development.Trainees may also have opportunities to participate in performances and creative projects with Members. 

    Trainee rehearsals take place Saturdays 10:30am-12:45pm and will share space with Members for a portion of their rehearsal. 

    Trainee tuition: $180, payed in full or 2 installments.
